Amazon is on fire in releasing new tech gadgets that could be the next Echo.
After the Echo Look comes another AI assistant that closely resembles an Echo, only it has a face. It’s the Amazon Echo Show, an Echo device with a built-in screen. Equipped with all Alexa capabilities and reinforced with a 7-inch touchscreen, it definitely gives you new ways to enjoy smart connectivity.
Take a look at Echo Show in action.
Among the tons of things that the Show can do, we’re highlighting our favorites, which we can’t do with just an Echo.
Make video calls
While Echo lets you talk to your family and friends, the Show will let you video call them. The free voice-call feature lets you reach anyone on an Echo Show, Echo, Echo Dot, or even just the Alexa app.
This feature is handy when you have your hands full. Busy making dinner and want to check in on where your husband is? Ask Show to connect you to your husband through voice.
Stream anything
If you always check your phone for recipes while doing dinner, it’s a bit messy and inconvenient. With the Show, you can simply stream a cooking tutorial while actually following the instructions on the go.
When getting ready for work, you can quickly ask Alexa to display the latest stock market prices or check your schedule for the day. That’s what you do when you need to multitasking on busy workday mornings.
Love to sing, but can’t memorize the lyrics? Just Google the lyrics and display it on the screen. Voila, instant karaoke.
Check security footage
Another great thing with the Show is you can readily access the live streaming of your security cameras at home.
Check your baby while he or she is sleeping. See who’s on your front door. Take a look at what your pet is doing. Do all these things without having to lift a finger.
The Echo Show will be released on June 28, 2017, but you can already pre-order one at Amazon today. One unit costs $229.99, but if you buy 2 Echo Show devices, you can save yourself $100. Just use the code SHOW2PACK.
